All Velocity WMS clients have been updated to version 2017.4.1009 which coincides with the update of our iOS app for Velocity WMS to version 4.2. The most noteworthy change in this update is the addition of the receipt pre-putaway email notification functionality that allows you to notify your customers that merchandise has physically arrived but is still pending the official receiving/putaway process. Please see the section “Receiving Pre-Putaway Notification Functionality Specifics” at the bottom of this email to learn more about this new feature. Your system has also been updated with enhancements and bug fixes detailed below.

What’s New

Receiving Pre-Putaway Notification Functionality Specifics
This image shows what the receiving pre-putaway email notification looks like by default. Of course the email will display your company’s information rather than our development site’s information.
To access this new feature click on the new Notifications drop down on the receiving page and click on Send Pre-Putaway Notice to send out the email as shown circled in red below. Please note that this email can only be sent while the receipt is in Open status and if there are lines on the receipt. If the notification has already gone out before, the system will ask you to confirm that you would like to resend the notification.
This notification can be disabled on a customer by customer basis with the Receipt Pre-Putaway Notice Enabled checkbox on the customer’s configuration page as highlighted in red below.
